Antique wooden letterpress printing type collection housed in a vintage Stephenson Blake & Co printers case.

A substantial mixed assortment of wooden printing blocks including upper and lower case letters, numbers, punctuation and various characters in a range of different sizes and typefaces.

The type is in good antique/vintage condition considering its age, with expected signs of genuine printing use including ink staining, surface marks, wear and age-related discolouration. The wooden case also shows wear consistent with age and use.

Please note this is a mixed collection and has not been checked for complete alphabets, fonts or matching sets. The case is marked Stephenson Blake & Co; however, the individual type has not been attributed to Stephenson Blake and may include pieces from various makers.
