A vintage room key fob from the Palace Hotel located in San Francisco, California. It is a large oval medallion with a raised outer border and an integrated top mounting loop. The upper perimeter is embossed with "PALACE HOTEL" and the lower perimeter reads "SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF." Concentric circular borders surround an embossed postal return message reading: RETURN / WE / GUARANTEE / POSTAGE / UNSEALED
The other side has a central logo and is surrounded floral design. It is made out of a heavy stamped or cast brass or bronze alloy. It measures 2 7/8 x 1 5/8 inches with a substantial depth that is approximately 1/8 of an inch.
