Exit Through the Gift Shop, the 2010 Banksy English/U.S. biography documentary ("The world's first Street Art disaster movie..."; a documentary about the legendary street artist, who has never been revealed publicly, not even in this documentary!) featuring Banksy, Shepard Fairey, Thierry Guetta, Rhys Ifans, Jay Leno, and Space Invader!!

this is a "country of origin" poster for this partially English movie! Also note that this is a teaser British quad (note the complete lack of credits on the poster). Finally, note that this is a double-sided poster. From the 1990s on, movie posters were often made in double-sided versions (for use in light boxes).


     The movie follows Thierry Guetta, a French immigrant living in Los Angeles who is obsessed with filming everything around him . His obsession leads him into the world of underground street art, where he documents famous artists like  SHEPARD FAIREY  and SPACE Invader. Eventually, Guetta meets Banksy, who decides to turn the camera back on Guetta himsel. The film charts Guetta's rapid and controversial rise to fame as a street artist under the pseudonym Mr. Brainwash.

While BANSKY has never officially confirmed his identity, a 2026 investigation by REUTERS and EARLIER REPORTS  have identified him as ROBIN GUNNINGHAM (born in Bristol in 1973).Legal Alias: 
David Jones
. According to Reuters, Gunningham legally changed his name to 
David Jones
 in 2008 to help maintain his anonymity—a name so generic it allowed him to "hide in plain sight".
