Unusual alternating rough and smooth polished briar wood surface.

This unsmoked vintage pipe measures approximately 5.5" 140mm.

My grandfather was a pipe maker in New York City in the 40's 50's & 60's.

He worked as a pipe maker for the Kaywoodie Pipe Company.
