These pedals came from a mid 80s Schwinn High Sierra mountain bike but I believe were used on BMX bikes in the 80s as well. Both spindles spin smoothly and the threads are good, just some fading and a missing dust cap. They used to be black, now faded to bronze. The little rubber dust covers at the base of the spindles pop out pretty easily, but they don't come off completely because the threaded part keeps them on.
