On offer is a black Bakelite fuse-box Type H, with the Air Ministry Ref. No. 5C/1036 embossed on its cover.

These I have been told were used in numerous WW2 aircraft and ancillary pieces of wireless and electrical equipment but have not had the time to research or find out for certain which ones. This takes one fuse, with the carrier for a spare, but there are NO fuses included in the offer.

If you are looking at this you probably know all about its origins and uses. The fuse-box appears to be unused, and is in good condition. These used to be available on the surplus market in their thousands during the 1950s / 1960s and essential for the restoration of many pieces of Air Ministry / RAF equipment, but now are becoming much more difficult to find.

The fuse-box is in near pristine condition, without any cracks or chips to the Bakelite moulding or cover.
