30's - 40's Double Irish Chain Quilt.

SIZE

Quilt : approx  93" x 82".

Double Irish chain width : approx ".

Small square piece : approx 2 1/8" x 2 1/8".

White square block : approx 15" x 15".

MATERIAL

30's - 40's cotton fabric with very thin cotton batting.

CONDITION & DETAIL

The quilt appears to have not been used much and never been washed,

but it's slightly yellowed overall and has some stains.

Most stains looks like water stains.

There is No severe damage to the quilt.

There are two 4-inch to 7-inch yellow stains on one white square block.

There are also several faint stains and tiny stains on the other white square blocks.

There is No ugly dark stain on the blocks.

There are some stains on the backing.

There is 1" rip in the one of the white block, 

but no other major damage in the front and binding of the quilt.

There is a patch repair on the corner of one of the white block.

There are two 3-inch rips and 3" x 3" patch on the backing.

The quilt batting is Not worn or clumped.

It's sewn by hand with approx 6 stitches per inch.

It has No strange odor.

The quilt may need to cleaned and repaired.
