This is a lovely example of a 1950’s Parker Senior Duofold Aerometric fountain pen with a large, number 35 , 14k gold nib in British Racing Green. The nib is a Fine (F). This Senior model was introduced in 1953 and was the largest in the 'New Duofold' range until it was replaced in 1958 by the slightly larger Maxima . This is a large well balanced pen which writes beautifully. In my opinion the Senior is the best from the whole Duofold Aerometric range. It has all the style and writing qualities of the standard Duofold and the large presence of the Maxima. It is a very comfortable to use on a daily basis.

The cap and body are in great condition with only minor micro scratches on very close inspection but not really noticeable in the hand. The nib lays down a nice, soft wet line. There is a slight, barely perceptible deviation to the straightness of the nib. You can only really tell in extreme close up and it doesn’t affect the way that the pen writes. I have tried to capture it in the images. This is the perfect pen to use on a daily basis. Please be sure to look at all the images to enable you to decide condition for yourself.
