This lens is a highly regarded optical copy of the famous German Carl Zeiss Biogon 35mm f/2.8 design. This exact version features the classic silver/aluminum body and a standard M39 screw mount (Leica Thread Mount / LTM), making it perfectly compatible with vintage rangefinder cameras like Zorki, FED, and Leica, or modern mirrorless cameras via a simple adapter. The lens has been professionally serviced, cleaned, and lubricated. It comes with its original vintage plastic storage case and a rear protective cap.
Condition
Excellent working and cosmetic condition. Fully serviced and maintained. The optical elements are clean, clear, and free from fungus, haze, separation, or deep scratches. Only minimal internal cleaning dust may be present, which does not affect image quality or contrast. The multi-coating shows a beautiful characteristic blue-purple tint. The mechanical parts perform flawlessly: the focus ring turns smoothly and evenly across the entire range, and the aperture ring rotates without steps as intended. The aperture blades are clean, free of oil marks, and form a perfectly round opening. The aluminum body shows minor authentic signs of use and patina consistent with its age, giving it a great vintage look.
