Developed specifically as an overdrive pedal for full-hollow body guitars.

Unlike solid-body guitars, full-hollow guitars possess a distinctive, thick, and solid core tone; this pedal allows for overdrive without artificially thinning out that sound, preserving the core while adding distortion. The goal was to achieve the tone of a driven vintage tube amp from the 40s or 50s—a sound realized through a combination of classic op-amps and a complex clipping circuit. As distortion is gradually blended in, it seems to wrap around the original signal rather than overpowering it. The pedal is also tuned to prevent low-end saturation. With just two controls—"Drive" and "Volume"—you can dial in anything from a subtle touch of grit to the sound of a vintage combo amp pushed to full overdrive.

Two tone settings are available via a jumper pin on the internal circuit board. The factory default "Warm" setting delivers a tone faithful to the original signal, while moving the jumper pin to the adjacent position reduces the high-cut filter's intensity, resulting in a brighter tone that emphasizes the mid-to-high frequencies.
