A note on flash rust

Every socket in this lot is wiped down with tool oil before it goes in the mailer, which is the best defense there is. It is not a guarantee though. Bare steel can pick up light surface flash rust in transit if it meets humidity or a temperature swing on the way to you. It is cosmetic, it comes off with oil and a rag, and it is not a condition problem with the tools.
