Approx. 200 feet of b&w silent 8mm home movies filmed in the Philippines in the 1930s -- pre WW2 Japanese occupation. The canister lid has "Igarait Wedding" written on it which I believe refers to the indigenous Igorot tribes of the Cordillero Mountains of Luzon, Philippines. The footage was filmed by an American family living in the Philippines.

people on the streets and sidewalks, some in western clothes others in native garb / men roasting pigs over spits, carving up the meat and serving it to a crowd / men and women dancing in tribal costume, men playing drums / ox pulling a covered wagon-cart / close-up shots of villagers / woman with really long hair weaving at a loom / woman demonstrates tying on her striped head-wrap / small chapel on a hillside / procession of villagers go inside / group photo of bride and groom with villagers / road trip over mountain roads...
Condition:
The film has a vinegar odor. I found and taped one broken splice which will need a permanent fix.
