Studied the shortcomings of commercially available shutter ribbons, and made improvements based on experiences repairing hundreds of units. We do not reuse ready-made products.
It is thin, flexible, has tensile strength, and does not stretch when pulled. It is woven differently from commercially available shutter ribbons.
Some commercially available ribbons are advertised as being 0.2mm thick, the same thickness as a shutter curtain, but in reality they are slightly thicker than 0.2mm. Therefore, when you stack ready-made shutter curtains sold there, there will be a gap of about 0.4mm between the curtains.
Ribbon that pulls the shutter curtain is ideallly thinner than the shutter curtain and as flexible as possible, and we have custom-made something that is as close to that as possible.
Even if you have not been satisfied with commercially available shutter ribbons until now, we are sure you will be satisfied. Please try it once. There is sample purchase option as well for your trial.
Replacing the shutter curtain is a difficult task if you do not have experience. We cannot take responsibility for any damage to the camera or if it becomes impossible to restore it to its original condition. Please replace it at your own risk.
