Iconic MAVIC handlebars. In the late 70s, MAVIC started branching out from rim manufacturing - an industry that they were dominating- into other bicycle components. That brought lots of innovation and plenty of new parts, including stems, handlebars and even complete groupsets.
The handlebars were made from the late 70s to the early 90s. They were excellent quality, with a superb finish and generally regarded as with improved stiffness over other competitors. They were not made in massive numbers and are really hard to find today.
This example here I believe is the 350 model, the more all-rounder bend of the range. It looks fantastic and seems so well made. Many people believe that -as with other makers that ventured into multiple cycling categories- they were manufactured by another company and just branded MAVIC. While it is said that early versions of MAVIC bars were made in colaboration with AVA (a stablished stem and bar maker in France) later versions like this one here were fully made by MAVIC in their Saint-Trivier-sur-Moignans factory, eastern France.
Overall, one of the nicest bars of the era, really scarce now. Perfect for your vintage bike, specially it is is a French one or to complement other MAVIC components. ç
Condition is good. Structurally they seem all fine, no cracks, they are solid and straight. Cosmetically they have a few blemishes as normal in handlebars this vintage. There are scratches, marks, etc, but nothing major. Please study the pictures thoroughly, they are part of the description.

This is a small bike shop and not a dedicated online-only bicycle business so shipping time may vary depending on how busy it is in the workshop.
