WEAR-EVER "AIR" ALLEGRO
COLLECTION SQUARE 2 QT STOCKPOT W/ BUILT-IN STRAINER LID
Up for your consideration and purchase at this time is this highly collectible VINTAGE WEAR-EVER AIR 2-QUART SQUARE SAUCE PAN from the celebrated Allegro collection. Known for its unique engineering, this heavy-duty anodized aluminum pot features a distinctive square silhouette where the corners act as built-in pour spouts. The interior features a durable non-stick coting for easy cleaning. It comes equipped with its original matching aluminum lid, which features a sunburst pattern, an integrated strainer grid, and a top adjustable steam release vent knob. The long ergonomic stay-cool handle and sturdy helper handle ensure balanced lifting and maximum control when pouring. This vintage sauce pan is in great, fully functional condition. The interior non-stick coating has some very fine, superficial scratches on the bottom from light past use. These are hard to see, do not affect the usability of the non-stick surface, and the coating is not peeling. The exterior and the original lid are both in clean shape as shown in the photos.
PRODUCT HISTORY
Introduced in the late twentieth century by the iconic American brand Wear-Ever, the Air line revolutionized everyday cooking. The unique recessed lid design allows boiling liquids to rise up through the center steam vent, pooling safely inside the upper lip instead of boiling over onto your cook top. The square shape maximizes stove-top surface area, and the ingenious draining lid eliminates the need for a separate colander.
