Original Antique Glass Negative - A Political Oddity
A family visiting an old logging scene in the 1890's
At the top of the log is attached a poster apparently advertising the run for senator of John Lockwood Wilson either the 1895 election or the 1898 election. Not very clear - It can barely be read under magnification.
Fair condition, an area of missing emulsion on the right side, no cracks or repairs evident.
I have digitally inverted a picture of this negative to illustrate what a print or poster would look like. No other editing was done.

This one of a kind negative is identified with a torn piece of paper inserted into the wax envelope.
