Anchorage 1994 XVII Ollympic Winter Games Candidature File.

As a bidding city to host an Olympic Games or an Olympic Winter Games, each provides the International Olympic Committee with a bid document or candidature file.  This document is a blueprint of the proposed Olympic projects, providing a overview of how a city will plan, organise and deliver the Games.
 
In 1987, Anchorage, Alaska, USA  was one of four cities seeking to host the XVII Olympic Winter Games in 1994.  In September of 1988, Lillehammer, Norway was selected as the site for these Olympic Winter Games.
