A Complete Guide to the Super Dimension Fortress Macross '80s "Super Dimension Series" Plastic Model Kits
In the early 1980s, an unprecedented project in the history of plastic model kits was undertaken: several companies, including Imai, Arii, Nichimo, and LS, collaborated to create plastic model kits of mecha from "Super Dimension Fortress Macross," "Super Dimension Century Orguss," and "Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross." This book re-examines the kits released by each company at that time, showcasing how each company translated the cutting-edge anime designs of the time into three-dimensional models. It also explores the potential hidden within these projects, considering the historical context of the era.
