The S Series is highly regarded for its ultra-thin body shape, excellent playability, and functionality. This is an Ibanez Made in Japan Prestige S Series S5470, manufactured in 2012.
It features a mahogany body, a 5-piece maple/walnut neck in the Super Wizard HP Prestige shape (with a KTS titanium rod), a bound rosewood fingerboard, and an HSH pickup configuration consisting of an Ibanez Hot Grinder 1, an Ibanez Short Tracer 2, and an Ibanez Hot Grinder 2. The bridge is equipped with a ZR2 tremolo system featuring a ZPS3.
This S Series Prestige model offers outstanding playability and is a practical choice featuring a locking tremolo and an HSH pickup configuration.
Signs of use are visible (including minor scratches, scuffs, wear marks, playing lines, picking marks, a partial chip on the back panel, and discoloration, clouding, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage). One latch on the hard case is broken.
Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been tested to move 60�� in both directions with no issues.
