Bernardaud Artois Vert pattern. “Vert” means green in French so the pattern is also known as Artois Green.
This elegant pattern in Bernardaud’s Versailles shape is characterized by hand painted green laurel leaf garlands, scattered pink and blue floral sprigs, an embossed lattice or basketweave mold and scalloped gold trim.
Because this was designed as a potpourri the finial topped lid is pierced.
