Title: The Joy of Jade
Author: Sr Mary Karol O’Connell
Publisher: Minerva Press, London (1995 True First Edition, First Printing)

Condition Report:

Interior: Exceptional, clean, pristine condition. The large text blocks are completely bright, crisp, flat, and firmly bound to the central square spine. Entirely free from children's pencil markings, crayon scrawls, finger tears, colour-in marks, or natural browning. Appears completely unread.

Exterior: Very Good condition. The softcover card wraps display wonderful ink density with zero spine fractures. Please note: the book has experienced a minor, soft top-to-bottom handling curve bend at some point, resulting in a slight superficial crease line that is highly discreet and does not affect the inner pages or rigid spine integrity whatsoever (fully and transparently detailed across our high-resolution workbench photographs).

About This Asset: A remarkably scarce, practically invisible vintage children's literature treasure published natively in London in 1995 by the niche independent imprint Minerva Press. The Joy of Jade weaves a charming, beautiful children's narrative, perfectly complemented by evocative independent illustrations. Because Minerva Press printings were manufactured in tiny, highly restricted production batches primarily intended for specialised private distribution rather than big-box commercial department stores, this title has been out of print for over three decades and is a total ghost online. An outstanding acquisition target for serious collectors of rare 1990s children's literature and specialised libraries.
