For sale is a vintage Yashica TL Electro X ITS 35mm SLR film camera body in a desirable all-black finish. This is the updated ITS version featuring the reliable electronic Copal Square focal-plane shutter and the classic M42 screw lens mount. It is compatible with a vast range of vintage lenses including Yashinon, Pentax Takumar, and Soviet Helios glass. Please note that the decorative shutter speed indicator plate on the front dial is missing, but the dial functions perfectly with clear mechanical clicks.
Condition
The camera is in very good cosmetic and working condition. The body shows minimal signs of wear with no major brassing, deep scratches, or dents. The leatherette covering is completely intact and securely attached. The camera has been tested with a battery and is functionally working. The electronic shutter fires accurately across the speeds, and the Bulb mode works correctly. The view-finder light meter indicators respond properly to light changes, and the battery check lamp lights up. The metal shutter blades are clean, straight, and free of oil. As with most cameras of this vintage, the internal light seals and mirror bumper foam are original and may require replacement to ensure absolute light-tightness before shooting film. The lens cap is included.
