Description: Quentin Blake appeared on the British Broadcasting Corporation's children's programme, Jackanory, reading his Lester stories while illustrating them in real time. This book is the uncommon official BBC book of that run of programmes. Quentin Blake had a long association with Jackanory, which commissioned him to provide illustrations for other books being read on the programme.

Original cloth hardback in the original dustwrapper.  The dustwrapper is in very pleasing condition, some light normal wear (see pictures). Original £2.70 price to the inside front flap. 

The book itself is in excellent condition, clean and bright with no obvious signs of use (see pictures). Binding sound and square.
