*Up for sale here is a great looking beer mug pictorial image blob top beer bottle, from Boston, Massachusetts. This clear pre pro slug plated version pint is sparkling clean and very near mint. There is a very slight inner flat ice pick lip chip, which is barely noticeable, as seen here. This favors the back side of the inner lip and is easily concealed with the stopper. And cannot be seen from the outside. Otherwise, this "attic bottle" is immaculate, with no other issues what-so-ever. The clarity of the old glass is amazing, as seen here. A top-notch example all around. The original lightning stopper and closure are intact, and is in perfect working order. It has the hand finished tooled blob top. Please see the pictures, as they tell the best story. Bottle displays quite nicely and would date into the 1890's era to about 1905. This hand-blown beer looks better in person.

*It is strongly embossed, as it crisply reads within a large tombstone slug plate ~ "J. GAHM / Trade Mark / (beer mug picture in center, with the J.G. initials within it) / BOSTON, / MASS." Above this it reads ~ "Registered". On the base it has the letter "M" embossed. The rest of the bottle is plain. J. Gahm carried the Schlitz brand of lager beer. The old clear glass will sun color purple-amethyst, if left exposed over time. This sparkling clean antique pint example measures 9 3/8 inches tall, to the top of the lip, and 2 5/8 inches in diameter. A wonderful piece of pre prohibition beer brewing history from Boston, Mass., which you will be quite pleased with.
