The seal ensures that the transition between the gas cylinder and carbonator is reliably sealed.


Signs of a damaged or missing cylinder seal can include:

  • A hissing sound of gas escaping from the cylinder compartment when the lever is operated.

  • Moisture in the cylinder compartment or an icy gas cylinder.
    • The gas cylinder emptied unusually quickly.
    • Gas comes out as soon as the cylinder is screwed into the Aarke soda maker - even without using the lever or the button.
    • Replacing the seal for Carbonator Pro:
    1. Make sure the CO₂ cylinder has been removed from the Aarke Carbonator Pro.
    2. Insert the new gasket into the cylinder compartment.
    3. Take the device with both hands and carefully turn it over so that you are looking at the bottom of the Carbonator Pro.
    4. Look into the cylinder compartment and move the device slightly so that the seal reaches the deepest part of the compartment.
    5. Then simply screw in the gas cylinder to fix the gasket in place. Complete!
    Replacing the seal for Carbonator II & 3:

    1. Make sure the CO₂ cylinder has been removed from the Aarke soda maker.

    2. There is a screw on the back of the device, a few centimeters below the black seam. Loosen this and then lift off the upper part of the soda maker.

    3. Turn the removed top over and look inside. If present, carefully remove the old seal using tweezers or a small screwdriver.

    4. Place the new gasket in the round cavity and press it evenly.

    5. Place the top straight back on the device. Make sure it is aligned correctly before screwing it back on. Complete!
