I think this is a mid-sixties model based my very small amount of research.
As far as I can tell everything works, but I'm not a typewriter expert so there are details that I likely missed. Feel free to ask me questions about specific functionalities that you feel might be commonly overlooked by "amateur" typewriter sellers. But in general, this machine is being sold "as-is" with the understanding that it has not been serviced or had any updates made on it. It will definitely need a new ribbon of you intend to type with it.
I'm not clear if the carrying case is original to the typewriter. I have not been able to find any other examples online of this exact case accompanying this exact Lettera 32, but as you can see that the words "case and typewriter made in Italy" printed into the inside of the case so it's probably safe to assume they're a proper pair. Either way you'll get it with the typewriter. The handle still works fine even the skin over it has a crack (see pics).
I have a lot of experience packing art, antiques and complex objects so I know how to get your typewriter to you safely. You can read our feedback descriptions regarding the attention given to the packing process for objects we have sold.
There are multiple options during checkout to choose from in terms of which shipping service you would like me to use.
