A fantastic vintage metal date stamp, circa 1930s–1950s, complete with its original black wooden handle and solid cast metal frame. This classic office datier was used in post rooms, banks and administrative offices for marking documents with adjustable day, month and year wheels.
The mechanism still moves, and the piece is in excellent vintage condition considering its age, with natural surface wear that adds to its character. A great display item for collectors of antique office equipment, industrial décor, retro stationery, or early mechanical tools.
