This Italian art pottery bowl is beautifully made with white flowers and leaves on a turquoise background. There are four shell shaped handles. It was made by Fratelli Fanciullacci in the mid 20th century. It is good sized measuring approximately 12 3/4" by 10 1/8" by 4", with a weight of about 3 pounds and 5 ounces. This is marked with the FF mark, and Italy with the model number 4708. It is a gorgeous pattern and vibrant color. There are several chips on the foot of the base. One handle has two chips on the edge, lower rim. Another handle has a chip on the upper edge. Please see the photos for closeups and different angles. There is also shallow chipping and flaking to the glaze in various places on the rim of the bowl, and top of handles. There are no cracks. It is very beautiful, despite the flaws.
