ITEM DESCRIPTION

Up for auction is a rare 1950s Youngstown Kitchens salesman sample briefcase with 45 plastic pieces. The pieces represent various kitchen features from counters, cabinets, sinks, stove, washer and dryer, cupboards and more. The top inside of the briefcase gives a diagram of where the pieces go inside the box, but the collection is incomplete, and some code numbers don’t match what’s on the piece. This collection comes from my wife’s family estate. Her dad worked in accounting for many years for the former Mullins Manufacturing Co. in Salem, Ohio, which produced the Youngstown Kitchens products. Very cool set. An extra identical briefcase with a broken handle is also available for an additional charge.
