Brass/Wood Model
Of
A Late 18th/Early 19th Century
Ship's Cannon
With
A Wood Base

A very nice brass and wooden model of a late 18th/early 19th Century ship's cannon, resting on a wooden base with a pyramid of lead (?) shot.
The wood of the model/base appears to be oak.
The base has grooves in it to rest the cannon wheels in, and has a red baize covering underneath.

Approx. size: base 25cms x 12cms x 2cms
cannon 20cms x 8cms x 10cms
Approx. weight unpacked: 1.6kgs

Condition - please also see photographs.
- commensurate with age and usage.
Some tarnishing to brass, some marks/dinks/scratches to wood, the shot is very dusty in the crevices, and appears to be missing the top cannon ball from the pyramid.
