Grateful Dead Crossing indeed !!!  As after all Dead Fans - this is 4/3/86 Hartford ! that we are talking about here ... yet another G.D. Mid-Eighties Smokin'-Hot Fest !  And too ... here 40-Years later ! - the Totally-Rare !! " Green !!! " Border Pass !  Yes - significant indeed, as offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the April 3rd, 1986 ( 4/3/86 ) Show at the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford, CT !!  This is a Very eye-catching, Bright & Bold ! Pass design from the '86 Spring Tour ... in Green !!!  Almost looks like a " Deer Crossing ! " Caution Sign !!  Bright yellow & white font featured - Grateful Dead !!! ... with an burnt-orange colored diamond ... which this Big Buck Deer is leaping right on through ... just check out That Rack !?!!  How many ' Points ' are on that pair ?  Very-Cool ! design indeed ... and in the background - Green !!!  You know, it's '86 Spring & all - as what's that Good Ol' saying ?? ... about the " Grass is always Green-er " ?  Ha !  Hey, but this is really no-joke at all.  For whatever reason this 4/3/86 Pass has become a Super-Scarce one ?!?  Where as, on the other hand -- this Exact-Same ! ' Design ' was used for the 4/4/86 Show the next Hartford night ... and that Pass Border was in ' Red ' !  So, my point being ... the 4/4/86 ' Red ' Pass can be still pretty-well found around ... but, on the other hand -- finding this Green-Bordered Beauty ! for this 4/3/86 ( the 1st Night Show ! ) is a complete Doozie !!  Seriously, as I at one-time had to search high & low for this one ... but eventually - with a little ' luck ' ... things finally came up ... Green !!!  Ahhh yes too ... '86 Spring Tour !! ... yummy indeed, with some Smokin'-Hot Live G.D. Moments !  My goodness how the Band loved to deliver Huge ! Back East in the Northeast !! ... and So ! Big-Time almost All ! throughout the Mid '80's !!  Or, just like Bobby Weir used to say ... " Just Like A Swiss Watch !!! ".  Hah !  Wow ... well, considering that the last Show that the Band played before this one - was April Fools !  Well ... this Show was quite the opposite as far as any type of Jokin' or Foolin' goes !  This Show fellow Fans ... it was down-right mean & nasty !  One of those pure type of ' Musicians-Music!  ' nights played by the Dead for the Dead Fan Faithful ... Wow !!  Iko Iko kicked off this Show - but honestly ... it was the Bird Song that truly Launched-it !  and from there on ... there was just No ! turning-back ... I mean check This ! out .... Bird Song - Supplication Jam > Let It Grow > Don't Ease ( close I )  Set II >>> Uncle John's ! > Playin' > Don't Need Love > Drums > Space > Other One ! > Wharf Rat > Around > NFA ... Encore : Baby Blue.  Does this one even ' look ' good on paper ?  Well, if not - it should !!  As a Whole ! the Bird Song through the Other One was basically the constant G.D. Live Heat !!  You know, the kind of stuff that we were always ! lookin' for.  A Grate ! Pass here - for a really-great Spring '86 Show ! ... & a Seriously-Rare ! one too - not in the design itself, but ... in the Color ! - the Color Green !!!  Just as Floyd once so-well said, right ? ... ' Green ! ' is the " Colour !! '.  Ha !  Enjoy !!!!!
