A distinctive Queensland fighting boomerang of elongated form, with a pronounced tight curve at one end and finely pointed tips. Its shape relates closely to Queensland sickle-form clubs and was also used in conjunction with the finely fluted pointed throwing clubs found in the same broader region.
The surface shows clear adzing marks, which appear consistent with non-metal tooling. The boomerang has a rich aged patina and remains in excellent condition for its age.
