Antique 1920’s St.Christopher Art-Deco Enamel Silver Dash Plaque/Badge

I am offering for sale an exceedingly rare antique religious automobile rectangular plaque depicting Saint Christopher, crafted in basse-taille technique. 

The central medallion features translucent amber vitreous enamel over low-relief silvered metal, creating a luminous, three-dimensional effect. The legend around the figure reads in French: "REGARDE ST. CHRISTOPHE ET PARS ASSURÉ" (Look at St. Christopher and go safely). It is framed by opaque white and black enamel with four black stylized road signs, emphasizing its use as a protective emblem for travelers. The plaque includes two mounting holes on the sides.

Unmarked, but very likely made in France, circa 1920’s

Condition:
All original, with minor markings here and there and a very nice natural dark patina. The mounting hole on the left side is partially damaged, with  a few visible chips on the black and white enamel, so it is very important to check the pictures. Otherwise, in fine overall condition.
