Sage Leaf Naturally Grown Herbal Tea
Sage is one of those herbs that is often found in the kitchen but not
often found in the teapot. Possibly the best-known use of Sage tea is as a
menopause regulator, specifically for hot flushes. According to a 2011 study in
the Advances in Therapy Journal, hot flushes were possibly reduced by up to
64%. As well as reducing mood swings and overactive bladders. Sage tea may help
detoxify the body by flushing out toxins as it’s a natural diuretic. It is also
said to have a natural calming effect as it is a relaxant. It could well help
for upset stomachs, abdominal pain, and constipation. High in antioxidants
helping to protect against free radicals and improving the immune system. Like
most herbal teas it is free of caffeine. Sipping Sage tea may well help your
overall health by keeping you hydrated and upping your antioxidant intake,
however, there isn’t enough research on the benefits of Sage tea to use it as a
treatment for any specific condition. I really enjoyed it and the genuinely
felt healthier afterwards. Not suitable for children, pregnant women, and
breast-feeding women.
It goes without saying that if you're
pregnant (or are under the doc for anything) caution should be
exercised with herbal decoctions.
