Ibanez, a world-renowned manufacturer, has released a new Mode series.
Based on the existing Jazz Bass style, this model incorporates Ibanez's unique interpretation.
While retaining iconic features such as two single-coil pickups and an offset body shape, it boasts a 24-fret fingerboard, comprehensive controls that deliver a wide range of tones characteristic of Ibanez, and above all, exceptional playability.
The nut width is a standard 38mm, but the slim neck shape provides a comfortable grip. The body thickness is also kept to a comfortable level, resulting in a bass that is easy to hold and lightweight overall.
The joint is bolt-on, but there is no neck plate; the joint itself is thinned down, reducing product costs while ensuring easy access to the 24th fret. The neck is made of roasted maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood. Stainless steel frets are used, providing clear definition and quick response, as well as maintenance-free use.
This bass features the manufacturer's newly developed Delta pickups and the manufacturer's original Sonitech S preamp, equipped with a 3-band equalizer with 6-step adjustable middle frequency, delivering a sound with aggressive power and exceptional balance.
In addition to its excellent playability and ease of use, the sound is clear and resonant without any unwanted coloration, possessing a compressed, cohesive tone with ample density and elasticity in the mid-low frequencies. It's a tone that reliably performs its bass duties in any situation, giving the impression of being straightforward and easy to use.
This is a unique interpretation of a Jazz Bass type that will usher in a new era.
