This 30" short-scale model is even more compact, yet doesn't sacrifice bass sound.

The preamp features a Vari-Mid 3-Band EQ with an EQ bypass switch.
With its compact design, comfortable fit, and high playability, the sound is characterized by a tight and rich midrange.

■Ergonomic body design
The EHB body design is ergonomically engineered to provide a perfect balance for the player, whether standing or sitting.
The horn is shaped to balance the body and neck when standing and to be easy to hold, while the body curve on the treble string side is designed with particular emphasis on fit and balance when sitting.
■Slanted body Back
The back of the body is boldly cut to become thinner towards the bass strings. This enhances the fit when playing seated and is designed with the viewing angle of the fretboard inlays in mind.
In addition, the back of the horn on the treble string side is scooped out to facilitate access to the high frets.
■9pc Panga Panga/Walnut neck with Graphite reinforcement rods
A 9-piece neck combining Panga Panga and walnut wood is used.
Both are hard woods, making it easy to obtain a clear sound image and characterized by a crisp sound.
■Panga Panga fretboard & Medium Stainless Steel frets
A Panga Panga fretboard is used, which adds a clear core to the sound image due to its hardness.
■Nordstrand® Custom Big Split pickup
Nordstrand® Big Split Equipped with custom pickups.
These are split pickups with a sweet tone and rich bottom end. They naturally cover everything from sounds ideal for bass lines to funky slap sounds.
■Vari-Mid 3-Band EQ w/EQ bypass switch
As the abbreviation for Variable frequency control for Mid EQ suggests, this EQ offers flexible control over the Mid frequencies.
Normally, a 3-band EQ divides the frequency band into three bands (HIGH/MID/LOW) and allows the developer to control boost or cut by focusing on a frequency range they arbitrarily designate. However, with Vari-Mid, the user can arbitrarily adjust the focus of the Mid frequencies.
