Nubeo Ventana

This is another beautiful time piece by Nubeo. The Ventana is primarily a dive watch with up to 1000 metres of water resistance. A unidirectional bezel complete with dive indices along with massive lumed hands and 5 minute indices make this model a competent underwater instrument.

When looking at this timepiece, large as it is, one is instantly drawn to the dial. The three dimensional skeletonized automatic movement takes pride of place at the centre of the dial. The bright yellow outer chapter ring surrounds the movement and supports large raised 5 minute indices. The indices have been finished in white lume, outlined in metallic blue. The aggressively large hour and minute hands have been finished in white lume, again outlined in metallic blue. The large sweep seconds hand is finished in black, tipped in white lume with light blue outlining.

The large coin edge bezel has machined wave cutouts on its vertical circumference to better aid grip . Such is the detail of this piece that design elements such as this come to life as you spend more time looking at the timepiece.

An 8mm dia crown can be found in the 4 o’clock position protected by a riser machined into the casework. Nubeo has used a 21 jewel Japanese mechanical automatic movement with a 42 hr power reserve in this model. A tightly sealed screw down back and screw down crown allow for a water resistance rating of up to 1000 metres. A Helium release valve has been installed in the side of the case at the 9 o’clock position alluding to the nautical intent of this piece.

A bright yellow silica dive strap is fitted to this model. The strap measures 27mm wide and 6mm thick at the case and tapers to 22mm wide at the buckle.

This is a very versatile timepiece by Nubeo, being robust and attractive enough to be an everyday companion with the added advantage of fore filling the roll of a dive instrument if needed.

I have been fielding enquiries recently in relation to the authenticity of the watches I sell and also customers wanting all plastics removed from the watches when being photographed.

Firstly all my watches are certainly authentic. I do not sell, replica watches all though I do know that replica Invicta's do exist as I have myself unknowingly purchase a couple. My advice is not to buy Invicta watches where the country of origin is China. Having said that both replica's I purchased were from the United States, obviously marketed through Chinese affiliates in that country. Try to buy from reputable sellers.

If I describe a watch as new, then it is new and generally is wrapped in the manufacture's plastics. I do remove and replace some but not all of these plastics for photographic clarity. Most of my customers prefer an unmolested product where plastics are concerned however if you are genuine in your enquiry and prefer that all plastics be removed for photographic purposes then contact me and I will oblige.
