Up for sale is a 2011 Gibson Les Paul Double Cutaway P-90 Goldtop, complete with a non-original hard-shell case.
This is a very cool and somewhat under-the-radar Gibson model that blends classic Les Paul tone with a lighter, more comfortable double cutaway design. Featuring a mahogany body with a carved maple top, a fast ’60s SlimTaper neck, and a pair of P-90 pickups, this guitar delivers vintage-inspired tone with a more modern, player-friendly feel. At just 8 lbs even, it’s especially lightweight for a Les Paul-style instrument.

There are no cracks, breaks, or structural issues. The neck is straight, the frets are in excellent condition with no visible wear, and the guitar plays cleanly up and down the neck with no buzzing or dead spots. It has been professionally set up and is ready to go.

Tone & Feel
This guitar has a lively, responsive feel thanks to its lighter weight and double cutaway design. It’s noticeably more comfortable than a traditional Les Paul, with easier upper fret access and a slightly more agile overall feel.
Tonally, the P-90s cover a lot of ground — from warm, woody cleans to gritty, aggressive overdrive. It’s an extremely versatile setup that works beautifully for rock, blues, indie, punk, and roots-oriented playing.
The SlimTaper neck profile feels fast and comfortable, making this a very easy guitar to spend hours playing.
