Potter cover artwork, Knuckles and Tales features two never-before-published novelettes in the Seven Devils Cycle: "Junior Teeter and the Bad Shine" and "The Pumpkin Child.'"

Nancy Collins is the recipient of the Horror Writers Association's Bram Stocker Award, The British Fantasy Society's Icarus Award and the Deathrealm Award, as well as a nominee for the World Fantasy Award. A lovely set. Nancy A. WillIams left her mark in the 1980s and 1990s urban fantasy genre with her goth punk vampire Sonja Blue. She spoke about her half-blood vampire Sonja Blue in a 2001 interview with Michele Lee at Monster Librarian: " I feel that most women, on some level, view themselves as being caught between two worlds, whether it's mother-wife, daughter-girlfriend, student-employee, or however you want to mix and match it. It's also an excellent allegory for coming of age, whether you're sixteen or fifty-two. In the Sonja Blue series the underlying theme is her constant inner struggle to remain human in the face of monstrosity. In the "VAMPS" series Cally is being tempted to forsake her human heritage in order to fit in with her new peer group. People are in too big a hurry to throw away their humanity, whether in exchange for 'cool' or 'money" or 'fame', if you ask me." Artwork by J. K. Potter, renown for his lifetime of covers for both small press publications and major publishers, including the 1997 Ursula K LeGuin edition of "The Lathe of Heaven" and many Stephen King books.
