The maintenance set “Set-40+F” was put together by us for overhauling the brewing group. Your coffee machine does not need to be disassembled or opened. Simply remove the brewing group from your coffee machine and you're ready to go!

With our maintenance kits you can easily carry out a self-repair on your coffee machine. You not only protect your wallet, but also the environment and resources.

Cleaning & removing coffee residue

How can I easily remove my seals?

How do I easily install the newly purchased seals?

To make it easier to put on the O-rings, molded seals and/or lip seals without them tearing in the worst case scenario, place them in a cup of hot water for a few seconds. This makes these seals more flexible and is much easier to put on.

O-ring care

To ensure a long life for the seals, we recommend lightly greasing the O-rings when you first insert them. However, please make sure to only lubricate seals that do not come into direct contact with the coffee. Why?

Because when the coffee is ground enough oils are released to self-lubricate the seals. Here the fat can even lead to defects because coffee residues stick there and can therefore clump together.

After cleaning your brewing group, you should not forget to lubricate the slideways with food grease. This increases the lubricity and also the durability of your seals.
