nformation

Publisher: Bandai
Country: Japan
Nom Collection : Miracle Battle Carddass
Original: Miracle Battle Carddass
Dimensions : 63 x 88 mm

The Miracle Battle Carddass (MBC) collection first gained attention at V Jump Card Festa 2009, which took place on August 21st in Osaka and August 29th in Tokyo. A booklet containing two promotional cards featuring Luffy and Goku was available for purchase there.
This trading card collection is published by Bandai and is unique in that it initially brought together two of Shueisha's biggest franchises: One Piece and Dragon Ball. Players can therefore build a deck exclusively from One Piece, or mix cards from both series to create the most competitive deck. Later, other franchises joined the collection (Toriko, then Hunter x Hunter, then Naruto, and finally Bleach, Gintama, and Kuroro's Basketball).

Distribution

The cards are dealt in:

- White box of 160 cards (+ 40 pub checklist) for vending machines (40 packs of 4 cards + one pub or checklist).
- Booster box of 20 boosters containing 8 cards.
- Starter Box of 40 cards + 10 Jump Power tokens + 1 game mat + 1 rulebook + 1 member card.

rarity system

There are 5 types of rarities available at the start of the collection:
- Common (C)
- Uncommon (U)
- Rare (R), card or main image has a foil effect
- Super Rare (SR), a card with a full foil effect
- Omega Rare (Ω), a card where the image partially covers the text area and which has a full foil effect complemented by a Gold Stamp inscription. These Omega Rare cards will give way to Super Omega Rare (超Ω) starting with Part 5 and the 3rd starter set, and will then become God Omega Rare (神Ω) starting with Part 17.

Starting with Part OP04, a new type of rarity appears:
- Miracle Rare (M), with 7 cards per Part, introduce a prism effect and often share a common theme. For some Parts, these cards exist in two versions, depending on their distribution method (Booster or Vending). Miracle cards become Boost (B) cards starting with Part 13.

Types of cards

Initially, there are 3 types of cards:
- Character cards, vertical cards representing one of the characters from the series,
- Action cards, vertical cards with black borders representing a character's technique,
- Event or Dramatic cards, horizontal cards representing a dramatic turn of events, referring to a crucial moment in the story.
Starting with Part DB14 and OP16, a new type of card appears, coinciding with the change in the card design:
- Support cards, vertical cards allowing you to place a "continuous" active power, unlike action cards.

The background of each card is initially chosen from 4 different colours:
- rouge
- Green
- blanc
- violet
A fifth color, Blue, appeared with the 2nd starter, and is present in all series from Part 3 onwards. And a sixth color, Black, appeared in favor of one Omega per Part, starting from Part 7.
Finally, in the later Parts, two-colored cards make their appearance.

Summary

This prolific collection has included 18 "original" Parts, 6 Starter Parts, several reissue Parts, as well as mini "Demo" Parts released for
