This is a perfectly formed quartz geode from the Midwestern Tri-State area known as the Keokuk Region. It comprises the area where the states of Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa converge. Geodes from this area are known for their excellent quality and diversity of minerals that can be found inside.


It is full of crystal clear quartz crystals, some of which have been tinted orange by the presence of Iron minerals.


It is approximately golf ball sized.
