Brown morocco spine with gilt lettering, marbled papered boards.xxii, 280 pages plus 35 pages of appendices, frontispiece portrait of Thomas Earnshaw plus six further plates. This is a facsimile reprint of Earnshaw's appeal to the Board of Longitude for a reward for his inventions, first published in 1808, with a new introduction by John Griffiths. As new copy in glassine wrapper. (wrapper has small tear/damage at top).

As new condition. A few minor marks externally (and some damage to removeable protective wrapper), clean and unread inside.
