This wooden display aircraft measures approximately 21.5” wide x 5.5” tall x 1/4” thick. It is hand painted and was hanging in the squadron for many years. There are several holes drilled into it where it was affixed to a wall. You can read more about the 301st F-105 group below. There are some chips in the wood/paint, the striping for the canopy is coming off in a few spots, and it has discoloration areas. There are two stickers on the nose are of both sides giving some info on where the previous owner might have served in the “Thud” community. Overall, this is a really rare collectible from an AF squadron.
