Used Norton Hard Arkansas Oilstone. The stone is in good condition overall. There is visible scuffing and oil spots from use. The stone is not chipped, cracked, or otherwise damaged.
The stone is not labeled or marked, but its appearance is consistent with Hard Arkansas stones. The box is marked with the Norton Logo, but there are no other markings on the box to indicate the material or model number of this stone.
The stone came from the estate of a watch and clock maker who took excellent care of his equipment.
