This is a fossil clam with Golden Calcite crystals. 

 It shows some crystallization and shows the original shape of the shell where the calcite grew up against it while it was decaying. 

With a UV Light, this piece will phosphorescence. On a matrix of smaller fossils, and shell stone.  

The clams, also known as Mercenaria Permagana Early Pleistocene (approx. 2 million years old), these are famous for having their interiors filled with golden-yellow, fluorescent calcite crystals. 

It weighs 11.5 oz.
