Silver Moonstone Necklace Art Nouveau Period Circa 1890
A super Art Nouveau moonstone necklace, set with 3 beautiful high domed Ceylon moonstone cabochons, well matched and having a good blue schiller. The necklace consists of three large panels, separated by two smaller panels depicting a flower. Each of the larger panels has a cabochon moonstone claw-set to the centre, with the setting adorned with typical Art Nouveau leaf motifs. The whole piece is very well made, and has stood the test of time very well, remaining in very good condition with no damage or repair. This piece dates to around 1890 to 1900
