Antique WMF silverplate figural trumpet vase featuring detailed cherub/putti figures with floral and nature motifs on ornate footed base. Marked “WMF 75” on underside. "WMF 75” is most likely a model/form number from Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik (WMF), one of the most well-known German metalware companies from the late 1800s through early 1900s

The dark gray finish suggests a

heavily tarnished silverplate, or

a pewter/oxidized finish WMF also used on decorative pieces (Likely spelter or white metal in the WMF style)

The exposed yellowish metal showing through on the foot is consistent with worn silverplate over brass or similar base metal.

Good antique condition with age-related wear, tarnish/patina, surface scratches, and some silverplate loss. One cherub is missing a wing, the top rim has damage, and has overall unevenness/wear from age.

Time Period: Early 1900s Art Nouveau era.
