The Hornby R40154 is an OO gauge model of a British Rail Mk4 Open First (FO) coach, specifically Coach H, with the running number 11212. It features the iconic InterCity Swallow livery, typical of British Rail's Era 8 (1982–1994).

These coaches are in excellent cosmetic condition throughout and include their accessory packs.

This version features refined detailing compared to older models, including flush-fit glazing, accurate push-button plug-type doors, and neatly molded handrails by each door.

The model correctly captures the distinct 6-degree inward-sloping sides designed for the original tilting train concept (inherited from the Advanced Passenger Train).

The interior includes a correct 2+1 seating layout for a First Class vehicle, molded in self-colored plastic.

It comes with NEM pockets and an accessory pack that includes buckeye and tight-lock couplings, allowing for close-coupling that reduces the gap between coaches on straight tracks.
