KM-P42, 1988 Israel 10 agorot, Stuttgart (Germany) mint; proof, nickel, plain edge; piefort (double thickness) issue, with the Star of David on obverse, here is the description from Sheqel:""Shown on the obverse of the 10 Agorot trade coin is a fragment from a coin, issued by Mattathias Antigonus (40 - 37 BC), depicting a Menorah (seven-armed candelabrum). The design of the 10 Agorot coin was the subject of a short-lived controversy in the late 1980s, when Palestine Liberation Organization chairman Yasser Arafat claimed that the obverse design of this coin incorporates a map of a "Greater Israel" that "goes from the Mediterranean to Mesopotamia, from the Red Sea to the Euphrates". This claim was quickly refuted by Israeli politicians and academics, who pointed out that the motif on the 10 Agorot coin - and all other Israeli coins - are selected for historical value only. This design was also adopted as the logo of the Bank of Israel, and appeared previously on the 100 'old' Sheqalim trade coin (KM-143)."
Special piefort (piedfort) set dedicated to 40'th anniversary of Israel was struck off-metal in nickel instead of circulation coinage aluminum-bronze as other years, similar to 1980 Bank of Israel commemorative old lira set.

To my overseas buyers and especially in Australia and New Zealand - US Postal Services may take up to 4 weeks to reach you, regardless of the eBay estimation dates.
Please note if eBay lists at the top of the page that I am away, I will only be able to ship coins once I return, I have to travel quite a bit for work. I always list the date of the return so that you can decide to buy and wait or buy a different coin. Thank you for your understanding.
Shipping by US Postal Services in the US is $2.50, overseas $3.45 uninsured, not tracked and not registered. If you win and would like your item to be sent either registered or insured, please contact me before paying. I combine on multiple wins when paid in single transaction - usually it is 40 cents per additional coin for domestic shipping and 75 cents for international, reasonably capped for weight and shipping method, heavier items will be more.
Each coin is individually scanned, I do not use stock pictures. I ship in plain white envelops and use bio-degradable materials when possible to limit environmental footprint. Returns are accepted if I send you the wrong item. Always bid on the item that is pictured, description sometimes gets copied from the other coins when I list. My grading or descriptive addition to the grading of the coin condition is subjective and disagreeing with it cannot be the reason for return.
